In addition to the modern amenities and special characteristics, its 134 rooms include 26 with the concept of SPA Living. Each room is decorated with works of art from renowned local artists as well as beautiful and detailed artistic weavings. It is necessary to contact the Hotel directly to make special requests such as rooms with one or two beds, for non-smokers, wheel chair-accessible, with a terrace or balcony, panoramic view and others since these are confirmed based on availability.

Historia

En 1979, la UNESCO declaró la ciudad colonial de La Antigua Guatemala como Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad, convirtiéndola en un tesoro reconocido de valor excepcional a nivel mundial. En el siglo XVII, el Convento de Santo Domingo fue uno de los más grandes de América y, en 1773, el terremoto de Santa Marta lo destruyó casi por completo. En 1989, se desarrolló el proyecto conocido como Casa Santo Domingo con el objetivo principal de rescatar los vestigios del Convento y el Templo, sepultados bajo toneladas de escombros. El Hotel Museo Spa Casa Santo Domingo emergió progresivamente, donde cada rincón es una página perdida en el tiempo que se une a otras para formar un hermoso capÃtulo del gran libro de nuestra historia.
